I enjoyed last night's forum and just have a few things to add or emphasize.

Distinctions as a candidate:
I am a teacher and learner, consequently, I understand the promise of education and the problems teachers face. I am relative newcomer to the Roseville political scene, and can speak plainly, and without a lot of jargon, to the community, schools and students.

Initiatives:
In addition to improving world language teaching, I would like to see an initiative to directly connect students and our community. Why not start a "Roseville Honors Society" patterned after the National Honors Society, but available to all students.

I thank the organizers and other candidates for an interesting and constructive discussion. I thank our community members for attending.
